The best time for a safari depends on the country and the type of wildlife you wish to see. Generally, the dry season (June to October) is ideal for game viewing as animals gather around water sources. However, the wet season (November to April) can also be rewarding, especially for birdwatching and lush landscapes.
Africa is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including the famous "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino), as well as giraffes, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, and a diverse array of bird species. Specific sightings can vary by location and season, but our guides are experts at finding and interpreting wildlife behavior.
Your safety is our top priority. Our safaris are led by experienced guides who are knowledgeable about wildlife behavior and the local environment. We also ensure that all accommodations meet high safety standards and provide detailed safety briefings before each excursion.
Yes, certain vaccinations are recommended or required for travel to African safari destinations, such as yellow fever and malaria prophylaxis. We advise checking with your doctor or a travel clinic well in advance of your trip to ensure you have all necessary vaccinations and medications.
We recommend packing light, breathable clothing in neutral colors, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, and a camera. Comfortable walking shoes are also essential. Depending on the season, you may need a warm jacket for early morning and evening game drives.
